In-N-Out Food For Thought Program
  March 8 – April 19

  This is a special spring reading program for children ages 4-12.
  Kids will be rewarded with a free hamburger from In-N-Out Burger
  for reading library books! Sign up at the Children’s Reference
  Desk beginning March 8th, 2008.

Paw's Readathon with Husker
  Saturdays April 5, May 3
  2:00 - 2:30 pm
  Wickiup Room

  Join us for read aloud practice to HUSKER, a beautiful trained
  therapy dog. Husker likes to hear kids read all kinds of books to
  him. Bring your favorite book to read or grab one from the library.
  Register to read at the Youth ReferenceDesk.  This program is for
  children ages 7 and up.

BOOKS, POETRY, & STORY  FESTIVAL
  Saturday, April 12,  2008
  11:00 am  - 12:00pm
  Saddleback Room (City Hall)


  Celebrate the  Poetry Month and the National  Library  Week with
  Monica Gunning, a  renowned poet, Rudy Paolino, author of
  whimsical verses , and Christina  Daz, an accomplished children*s
  author, illustrator and  a storyteller. Enjoy fun poems and stories.
  Bring your own original poem to read aloud and get a prize. This
  program is for children ages 6 and up. Book signing will be
  available.

The Great Puppet Show “The Case of the Elephant Trunk”

Let’s Celebrate Children’s Book Week with The Great Puppet Show

  program is for ages 3 and up.
